Christian Orthopraxy: What is it?

In today’s world there is a lack of all things sensible. People are turning to everything else but the God who created them. Drugs, alcohol, sex, TV, Movies, relationships, music, hollywood, recording artists, and many more idols are taking worship away from God. Some of these idols offered are not in and of themselves wrong. Some of them in their correct context and with the correct balance are good, wholesome, God-given gifts. Idolatry is when we make more of something over God. What can remedy this idolatry that prevails in our culture today?

The only thing that can remedy an individuals idolatry is a turning to  the three-personed God that has created the world, has redeemed the world, and is now working in the world.

Orthopraxy is derived from the Greek word ὀρθοπραξις, which means “correct practice”. I am in no way the person who should tell people how to correctly practice their Christianity. That is not my main point in having this blog. The main focus I would like to have is encouragement. I want to write on different situations (and link to other blogs/sites) that exemplify how Christian Orthopraxy is executed in a God-exalting and biblical way.
