Casting Crowns has a great song called what I have entitled this post. It’s a song about the church of Jesus and the impact (or lack thereof) that the body is having. The song asks several questions:

But if we are the Body
Why aren’t His arms reaching
Why aren’t His hands healing
Why aren’t His words teaching
And if we are the Body
Why aren’t His feet going
Why is His love not showing them there is a way

I’m thankful for the body that God has directed me to be in. Honestly, I’m obsessed with my church. My church desires to do those things listed in the song and more! Those of you who know me, you know I talk incessantly about it. My church just kicked off it’s first officially announced service on Sunday. It was exciting to see new people, as well as a youth group missions team that came to pass out post cards showing our website and some information. Being my first service back, it was great to see everyone and worship together.
